Huawei Honor 6x is a lower mid-range 4G LTE Android powered phone that comes with a dual-camera setup. I am not sure if I will be right saying this is the only camera that offers dual camera setup in a lower mid-range phone that costs Rs. 12,999 (INR) which is equivalent to roughly $200. It is necessary to bring in additional features as compared to other competitors especially a competitor like Xiaomi. The recently launched Redmi NOTE 4 by Xiaomi has specs close to the Honor 6x but each one of them is a winner in different areas which I will bring you in a different comparison post. For now, lets have a look on some key hardware specs:

Unboxing the Honor 6x:
The Honor 6x comes with a beautifully packaging with very minimal accessories like every other similar mid-range phones. The box contains Honor 6x phone, Some user guide, Huawei Warranty card, SIM card ejector tool, USB travel charger and a micro USB cable that’s all. Below is the Honor 6x Unboxing video which you can have a look on for some detailed info:
First impressions of Honor 6x:
The on paper specs look pretty decent as per the price view point and the special case of Dual-camera at this price range. I have been using this since couple of weeks and I must say that this is totally worth of the price if you love to capture moments.
It has a sleek attractive look which feels also nice on hand but prone to fall as the grip is poor on the device.
Pretty good battery life which easily lasts for a day with normal to heavy usage.
Little low on volume on both headphone and external speaker.
Delicacy of Honor 6x:
Once I had dropped the phone not from much height but enough to leave a mark on the phone which is noticeable if you look it close. From that drop one thing I learned that as the phone’s back is a metal body, which once bent may not be easily fixed and may ruin the gorgeous look of the phone. So, you better be careful of that and must put a case on the Honor 6x to protect it from such disasters.
Well, overall the device is good and ideal for people love to capture great moments but are conservative on price point. I will follow up few more review posts along with videos. Stay tuned to Smartphone Mill for more updates.
